Transform your VW Transporter campervan with this double swivel base developed by Swivel King and Vulcan.
Perfect for maximising the living area within your campervan by utilising your cab seats as additional seating inside your camper when parked up. Designed specifically for the VW Transporter T5, T6 & T6.1 models, this swivel base is for double passenger seats.
Normally, if you wanted a swivel seat on the passenger side, you would have to swap your double seat for a captain’s seat. However, this swivel base slides (by up to 500mm) the double seat before it rotates, allowing it to comfortably spin around to face the living area.
Extremely easy to use, we recommend the Swivel King / Vulcan range, and we have been happily including them in our own conversions. This swivel base has been M1 tested and certified, so you can install it with complete peace of mind that it is safe and robust.
All parts are durably powder-coated, and the base features user-friendly locking bolts.
Suitable for campervans with 9-12mm plywood floors and vinyl. This swivel base is not compatible with seats that have integrated airbags or are wired for heated seating.
This swivel raises the seat by 47mm. The swivel can extend by 500mm to allow for rotation. You do not need to modify the seat; however, you will need to take the wiring plugs out of their casing and reattach them, placing them under the rubber mat. You can remove the 4 rear bolts from the floor using a 22mm deep socket/spanner.
