About this product
Direct from Dodo Mat is the latest addition to their best selling product, a thermo liner designed specifically for use in campervans and motorhomes.
This lightweight and easy to apply liner uses a closed foam cell technology to effectively trap air and regulate the temperature of your van. Lock in the warmth during the colder months and keep your van cool in the summer with the third edition of Dodo Mat’s Thermo Liner.
The foam is coupled with an aluminium topper which reflects heat back into the van and also acts as a vapour barrier to help reduce the risk of condensation.
Supplied as a roll so you can easily cover large areas and panels in your van, this product has been designed with vehicle conversions in mind. It also has a paper covered self adhesive layer so there is no need to use any additional spray glue. Simply cut the liner using scissors or a blade, peel back the paper and stick directly to your van.
In addition to superior thermal attributes, this product will enhance the soundproofing of your van further by reducing high frequency noises such as wind. It will also make your radio or TV sound clearer and reduce distortion.
How much do I need?
One pack is 1m wide by 10m in length, covering a total of 10 sq. m. We always recommend that you measure up the space that you require covering but from our experience we have put together the below as a guide.
1 roll = VW Caddy or similar
2 rolls = VW Transporter / Ford Transit Custom (Short wheel base versions)
3 rolls = VW Transporter / Ford Transit Custom (Long wheel base versions) & Fiat Ducato / Citroen Relay / Peugeot Boxer (up to L3 H1)
4 rolls = Fiat Ducato / Citroen Relay / Peugeot Boxer (XLWB or L3 H2)
This is meant as a guide only, depending on your conversion you may require less or more than above.
How to apply
1. Install in temperatures over 10°C for adhesive to work best (warm adhesive layer if necessary)
2. Ensure panel is clean, dry and grease free
3. Measure the section of your van you are about to cover and cut the roll to length
4. Peel back paper topper slightly to expose self-adhesive layer
5. Place self adhesive layer to edge of application area and press firmly into the van
6. Gradually peel back the paper topper to reveal more self adhesive and continue to press into the panel
7. Make sure the thermo liner is stuck firmly to the panel and apply extra pressure in any corners, kinks or cavities.
