It will not absorb moisture, meaning it will not contribute to creating damp and it will help reduce the chance of condensation. Soft to the touch, this insulation is non-irritable and contains no harmful chemicals or binders and is completely safe to handle.

Perfect for your campervan conversion, it is easy to work with and can be cut by using scissors, a blade or simply torn from the roll.

How much do I need?

We always recommend that you calculate how much material you need based on the specific areas you are covering in your conversion. We suggest that you aim to cover almost all of your panels, and any gaps or voids in the metal work of your van for best results.

Each pack comes as a 390mm x 10,000mm (0.39m x 10m) roll and will cover a total of 3.9 sq. m.

From our experience we have put together a recommendation:

  • 1 roll = VW Caddy or similar
  • 2 rolls = VW Transporter / Ford Transit Custom
  • 3/4 rolls = Fiat Ducato / Citroen Relay / Peugeot Boxer (Up to L3 H1)
  • 4/5 rolls = Fiat Ducato / Citroen Relay / Peugeot Boxer (XLWB or L3 H2)

The above is a guide only, depending on your specific conversion you may require less or more than above.

How to apply

1. Measure the section of the van that you are about to cover

2. Roll out the insulation to the required length and cut or tear off

3. Spray one side with high temperature spray adhesive

4. Wait 30 seconds for the glue to prime

5. Apply the insulation directly to the required area and apply pressure across the surface to make sure it is all stuck firmly
